Just fantastic!
Arriving to find a lovely house set in a secluded tree lined setting walking distance to a great beach is an excellent start to a holiday. But it got better.
The house is so comfortable and well equipped that we relaxed immediately. The outdoor space and pool are quiet and private and the eating area, with its barbeque and pizza oven, makes eating al fresco a joy.
If you can drag yourself away from the pool and the beach, the local town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio, has good shopping and some lovely restaurants. Don’t overlook Restaurante Dom Petisco. The service and location don’t look 5* but the seafood is sublime.
Our party was four adults, but I will be rebooking with family because this is a great place to make children (and their parents) very happy.
